Delta-Simons was first formed in 1992 as a joint venture between The Simons Group of Lincoln and Delta Environmental Consultants Inc based in Minneapolis USA.  In 1999 The Simons Group and Delta sold the company to Quest Environmental Services and Technology Limited forming QDS Environmental Limited.  In late 2002, during a period of management restructuring, Gareth Pickles led the ‘de-merge’ of Delta-Simons from QDS and in July 2003 Delta-Simons Environmental Consultants Limited was re-launched as an independent Limited company. Since the re-launch, under the current leadership, Delta-Simons has successfully diversified into complimentary and developing sectors, significantly enhanced its core market share and expanded its geographical presence.   

                       

The business delivers its services to customers across the UK and Ireland from four locations in Lincoln, Norwich, Edinburgh and Durham, and globally via the Inogen Alliance.

 

 

At Delta-Simons we are extremely proud of our strong customer relationships and the number of market leaders with whom we work.  Delta-Simons operates on key account management principles meaning that we establish dedicated account managers and project teams to work closely with each customer to better understand our customers specific business needs and expectations.  Working this way Delta-Simons has established long term relationships with customers, some of which go back to the commencement of business in 1992. 

 

 

Delta-Simons works hard to carefully select and work in partnership with its suppliers and sub consultants to achieve mutual benefit and consistent delivery for our customers.  We recognise that each of our suppliers provides a key service to our business without which we could not operate as effectively in that field.  Each supplier or sub consultant undergoes rigorous competence, quality assurance and Health and Safety assessment to ensure their compliance with our own internal requirements and those of our clients.  From laboratory technicians, specialist consultants and professional support, Delta-Simons ‘virtual supply team’ comprises many hundreds of people.
