Gavin Bunker, Shining Earth™ Senior Sustainability Consultant, has recently presented the key note speech at Corus Colors Annual Conference; presenting on Sustainable Development in Practice. The conference, held in Chester, North Wales took place on June 12^th 2007 and was attended by over 100 Corus Colors contractors.

At the conference, Gavin Bunker gave a thought provoking talk highlighting sustainable development in practice. The talk flowed from macro sustainable development in the guise of the Gazeley Eco Template. Gavin then moved onto Medium sized sustainable development looking at the Delta-Simons Head Office sustainable initiatives, and finally Gavin enlightened the audience with his own personal approach to grass roots sustainability.

 

The talk was well received and Gavin concluded his spot suggesting that although climate change is real, alive and here right now, sustainability can be achieved through innovative mitigation projects whilst creating, not hindering, business opportunity and profit.
