The world’s first ‘Beyond Carbon Neutral’ suit collection has been launched by leading tailors Charcoal & Chalk, in conjunction with sustainability consultants Shining Earth™.

 

Manufactured to the highest quality by Charcoal & Chalk, the carbon emissions generated as a result of the manufacturing and transportation of each suit will be offset three times over (three hundred percent), hence the Beyond Carbon Neutral moniker.  Tree planting and habitat creation in the UK with the Woodland Trust accounts for 200% of the offset, and 100% has been offset via renewable energy and methane capture schemes globally through The CarbonNeutral Company.

 

Shining Earth™, the sustainability division of environmental consultants Delta-Simons, was brought in by Charcoal & Chalk to carry out a comprehensive audit of all of the processes involved in bringing the Beyond Carbon Neutral suit collection to the shop floor.  The audit helped to ensure production and transportation of the suits was optimised, as well as specifically evaluating the carbon emissions.
