Lincoln-based environmental consultants Delta-Simons has sponsored local estate agent Tim Downing, of Pygott and Crone, in his forthcoming effort to Cycle to Cannes.
Held annually, Cycle to Cannes is a six-day cycling relay endurance event covering 1,500 kilometres, which will depart Greenwich on 5 March and arrive at the MIPIM property event in Cannes on 10 March. Designed to appeal to fit commuter riders, as well as hardened ‘roadies’, Cycle to Cannes will see property professionals from across the UK cycling to the continent to raise funds for five core charities including The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, The Sarah Matheson Trust, Article 25, The Tom as Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust and Land Aid.
Gareth Pickles, Delta-Simons Managing Director, comments, “Tim’s efforts, along with those of his colleagues in the property sector, will help to raise a huge amount of money for some very worthwhile causes. We applaud his commitment, which is why we are delighted to be able to sponsor him, and we’re sure he’ll enjoy every one of the 1,500 kilometres!”
