Delta-Simons Lead Driller and Unit Manager Gary Coster has been awarded with an NVQ 2 Certificate in Land Drilling.  The NVQ 2 Certificate took 6 months to complete and included modules in efficient working practices, workplace safety, work area protection and various ground investigation techniques and practices.  Examiner assessment included a combination of on-site observation and off-site write up and review. 

 

This qualification is in addition to the City and Guilds for Service Avoidance which Gary and his team already have and forms part of the significant and continuing professional development of the Drilling Unit personnel.

Gary is continuing to develop his skills and will be starting the NVQ 3 Construction Site Supervision Certificate next month.
