Delta-Simons has launched its own site investigation drilling team, complete with a rig widely acknowledged as the leader in its class.

 

The Comacchio Geo 205 track mounted rig has been in full operation since 1^st September 2006, allowing Delta-Simons to operate its own site investigation drilling team.

 

Whilst compact and versatile enough to operate in restricted space and limited height, the rig has plenty of power to drill in all but the toughest ground conditions to collect both geotechnical and environmental samples. The rig has also been complemented by a window sample unit capable of working in the smallest of spaces.

 

This new facility has allowed Delta-Simons to perform its own site investigations, offering customers reliable mobilisation, increased flexibility, stability of cost and improved health, safety and environmental stewardship.

“The Comacchio Geo 205 is a compact and versatile hydraulic drilling rig. It is mounted on rubber crawler tracks and is suitable for soil investigations, corings and environmental drilling. The machine can operate all rotary drilling systems, down the hole hammers, coring and rotary-percussive equipment.”
