Yorkshire Three Peaks

Delta-Simons have a team of 15 intrepid walkers taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 10th September in aid of the company's chosen charity, Dravet Syndrome UK.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough; the team aim to complete the 24-mile challenge in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Dravet UK is a very important charity to Delta-Simons, and one that we continue to raise funds for through a variety of challenges.  Dravet Syndrome is a catastrophic neurological condition causing severe seizures alongside other conditions such as learning disability, ADHD, ataxia and autism.  Children with Dravet Syndrome do not outgrow this condition and it affects every aspect of their daily lives and that of their family.  Dravet Syndrome UK is an independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults living with Dravet Syndrome and other related genetic sodium channel epilepsies through medical research, education and awareness and support.

This is the company's biggest solo charity challenge to date and we'd really like to hit our target for such an important and worthy cause.  If you're interested in sponsoring the team please visit our Just Giving page.
