Stuart Whatley

Welcome to Stuart Whatley who has joined the Geo-environmental Transactions team as Senior Consultant. Stuart has been an environmental consultant for ten years, having worked previously for UK and global environmental, health and safety consulting practices, and most recently The Crown Estate.

Stuart’s main experience over that time has been in managing environmental due diligence projects as part of real estate transactions and corporate Merger & Acquisitions, including transactional EHS compliance assessments and corporate EHS compliance auditing.  Stuart’s previous experience is also wider ranging and has involved supporting clients on pre-planning and planning approval projects, as well as advising on pre-development geo-environmental conditions and constraints, contributions to EIA Environmental Statements, designing and undertaking Phase II investigations, QRA/DQRA, groundwater monitoring and borehole decommissioning. Stuart has also undertaken numerous Waste Duty of Care audits of hazardous and non-hazardous waste management sites.

Stuart completed his BSc in Environmental Geoscience, and gained a Masters in Environmental Science, Legislation and Management. Stuart is also a Practitioner member of IEMA, a member of UKELA, a Technical member of IOSH, is registered as an Academically Qualified Person under CSCS, and has completed the NEBOSH National General Certificate (occupational H&S) and Environmental Management Certificate.

Stuart will be supporting the Geo-environmental Transactions team on real estate and corporate M&A Due Diligence projects for UK clients and with our Inogen Environmental Alliance colleagues to support international project delivery.
