BREEAM Consultants

BREEAM is the world’s leading environmental assessment method for sustainable buildings; it quantifies the environmental performance of new and existing buildings.

Delta-Simons can assess and assist your building project to achieve desired BREEAM ratings through the required nine categories. From pre-assessment, to design stage certificate, to post-construction stage, Delta-Simons can manage the entire BREEAM process – engaging and coordinating relevant parties, and fulfilling their responsibilities in a timely manner.

Appointing a BREEAM AP gains additional credits, and the expert advice provided throughout the project can help to optimise the process to minimise costs and administrative burdens.

Services we offer

BREEAM Site Appraisal

With the increasing importance of site-related issues in BREEAM, Delta-Simons can undertake desktop due-diligence on your Site(s) to highlight potential risks and opportunities; and help to minimise additional design and construction costs incurred by the BREEAM process.

Real Estate Sustainability Due-Diligence

Two buildings with the same BREEAM Rating may perform in very different ways. One building may be extremely energy efficient whilst another may have scored highly for ecology. A detailed review of the BREEAM certification allows property investors to fully assess the ‘green' credentials of real estate.

BREEAM Green Leases

Delta-Simons can advise commercial landlords and tenants on the implications of BREEAM ‘Green Leases' (or ‘green clauses' of tenancy agreements) for new developments, fit-outs and refurbishments.

BREEAM In-Use Auditing

Delta-Simons can work with landlords and facilities managers to assess, benchmark and enhance existing property stock, on an individual or portfolio-wide scale.

BREEAM Ecology

Delta-Simons can provide BREEAM Ecology services in order to: access the current ecological value of site, minimise impacts during site preparation and construction and enhance biodiversity post-construction. Delta-Simons can also prepare Habitat and Landscape Management Plans in addition to acting as Ecological Clerk of Works on your site.
