Delta-Simons assisted a due diligence exercise for a Site purchase to accommodate a new data centre. The Site was progressing through planning for a similar end use and the Client wished to establish whether the application was suitable for their exact operational needs and whether there were any significant environmental liabilities.
Delta-Simons was appointed by Domeble to deliver an environmental assessment in relation to the proposed development of computer-generated imagery (CGI) and virtual reality (VR) systems and solutions for the automotive industry as part of a funding grant awarded by Innovate UK.

Rosanna has gained a thorough understanding of complex EHS regulations and its cultural landscape worldwide. Rosanna has extensive experience within the IT, construction, banking, retail and consulting sectors. She is a strategic thinker focused on the business needs and the added value that well-managed EHS programs can deliver.
Divisional Director, Geo-environmental
Simon leads the Geo-Environmental division of Delta-Simons and sits on the Senior Leadership Team for the business. He is a contaminated land and environmental due diligence professional and project manager/director with over 20 years specialising in human health risk assessment and project management. His experience covers initial assessment through to remediation design and implementation including a strong understanding of both technical and commercial aspects.
He has an established track record working on complex and challenging sites with multiple stakeholder requirements. Experienced in the residential, commercial, industrial and legal sectors including both UK and international working. Sites include small to large (>300Ha) and complex including chemical/pharma, gasworks, oil & gas sites, munitions works and general industrial sites. His experience includes site closure projects including scoping, security, decontamination, demolition, tendering, contract monitoring and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary services. Simon has been involved in expert witness works including high profile cases with significant media attention.
Simon is experienced in providing environmental due diligence / transaction support on significant property portfolios including work for both vendor and purchaser of real estate and businesses (M&A). He has successfully undertaken rapid EDD for non-performing loan books of in excess of 5000 properties and with values exceeding £1bn for private equity clients.
Simon is passionate about the projects he gets involved in and combines his technical knowledge with a strong commercial approach to assess environmental challenges, and develop effective and economic solutions for Delta-Simons clients.
Simon is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and Chartered Scientist (CSci) and is a Member of the Institute of Environmental Scientists (MIEnvSc).
Damian is the Divisional Director for Environmental Planning Services at Delta-Simons and has been part of the Delta-Simons’ Senior Leadership Team since 2014. Damian has held senior management and leadership positions at global professional service consultancies and at a civil engineering contractor delivering nationally significant infrastructure projects.
Damian is degree qualified in environmental science and has 25 years’ post-grad consultancy experience and maintains an extensive professional network; based on obtaining client trust, repeat business and referrals through the delivery of practical commercial advice and a proactive approach to project delivery.
Alan Crossfield is Divisional Director (Environmental Transactions Services) and a member of the Senior Leadership Team at Delta-Simons Environmental Consultants Ltd, where he leads a 30+ person strong team of Environmental professionals. He has over 27 years of experience as an Environmental Consultant advising commercial clients in the Real Estate Sector on environmental risk and liability. Alan provides a balanced technical and commercial approach to resolving brownfield issues and brings strong leadership, networking and interpersonal skills.
Alan is currently a member of the Inogen Alliance Leadership Team; a global alliance of environment, health, safety and sustainability consultants.
Alex is Managing Director and a member of the Executive team at Delta-Simons, with accountability for delivering multidisciplinary solutions to UK and international developers. He has been involved at the highest level with most of Delta-Simons key customers since joining in 2001. In this time he has gained extensive experience and knowledge of a wide range of property acquisition, development and divestiture projects. Alex has a very keen commercial awareness of how to create value from brownfield land challenges and this has gained him great respect with a wide range of property developers and investors.
