Associate joins company to support launch of new Water Services

Alex Perryman

Welcome to Alex Perryman who joins the Environmental Planning team as an Associate. Alex has been appointed to lead and develop our new service area - flood risk and water services.

Alex brings with him 15 years’ experience in the water industry and geospatial arena leading Flood Risk Assessments and related ES Chapters for EIAs, Surface Water Management Plans and economic appraisals.

Alex, a member of Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), gained his BA in Geography from Durham University, and MSc in GIS from the University of Southampton. Alex has extensive experience in the full suite of ERSI ArcGIS tools has experience in mentoring and training employees in flood risk. 

With flooding being a mainstream risk consideration, impacting people, properties and critical infrastructure, the government is taking action to mitigate against flood risk and afford protection to those at greatest risk.  Delta-Simons has introduced the new Water Services sector to ensure we can support our clients in coping with complex risks associated with flooding and protecting their long term investments.

Alex said of his new appointment, “I joined Delta-Simons due to the excellent opportunities to lead and develop a flood risk team, and establish Delta-Simons as market leader in providing their new flood risk management services.”
