Following the opening of the Birmingham regional office in 2017, focus has been on recruitment to support the growing client base. We would like to welcome Martina Young who joins as Geo-environmental Principal, and Ben Osborne who joins as Geo-environmental Consultant.

Martina brings 12 years’ geo-environmental experience having worked on development projects nationwide for WSP within the Ground Risk and Remediation team.   She has a BSc in geology and archaeology from the University of Birmingham, and is a fellow of the Geological Society, working towards chartership status.

Ben was originally based Cornwall working for Wheal Jane Consultancy before joining WSP. He gained his BSc in environmental geoscience at Cardiff University, and his Masters in soils and environmental pollution from University of Reading.  He is also an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Sciences (IES).

Lizzie Beers, Geo-environmental Associate who heads up the Birmingham office within our Central region, says “After opening the Birmingham office, we’ve been really keen to develop our presence in the area.  We’ve made considerable progress and as such we are now in a position to build the best team to support our clients and continue to increase the reputation of Delta-Simons in the region.  We are thrilled to welcome Martina and Ben to the team.”
