  • How the company engages with stakeholders and the local community

Delta-Simons’ Impact

As a purpose-driven company, dedicated to protecting people from hazardous environments and protecting the environment from the impacts of people, we work on projects that contribute to the social and economic development both in greater Lincolnshire, throughout the UK and internationally.

With our head office based in Lincoln, since the company’s inception in 1992, we have continued to  deliver environmental consultancy for our clients, in the local area, making a positive impact for business, the local economy and the community.

Delta-Simons has grown and developed as a company, striving to deliver better. We continue to work on both small and major projects for the benefit of the county. We are proud to be part of the excellent work being undertaken across Lincolnshire to ensure its growth as a destination of choice for work, education and leisure.

As a supportive and inclusive employer, we are passionate about encouraging local people to consider careers with us. We support events at schools, colleges and higher education to showcase the industry and inspire the next generation.

Through our degree apprenticeship we provide opportunities to access University over 5 years whilst in paid employment. We also sponsored a member of the Lincoln office to undertake a part time Masters degree in Engineering Geology, covering course fees and providing study time.

We promote equality, diversity and inclusion internally and across the Environmental Sector. We have been actively involved with Black Geographers from its inception in 2020 to tackle the lack of diversity. We host a series of workshops supporting members to apply for placements and prepare for job applications.

A Trusted, Community Focused Business

Winning the award for Consultancy Of The Year recognises and celebrates our team's hard work, cementing us as key members of the Lincolnshire construction and property community.

Our underlying principle is to protect people and planet. This award showcases our continued commitment to support Lincolnshire to achieve our aims through sustainable development. During this time of economic uncertainty, we continue to thrive and grow as a business. In 2023, we aim to retain and expand our diverse client base. In March 2021 we became part of the Lucion Group and in May 2022 acquired Peterborough-based Ground Engineering Limited. Now with over 500 specialists operating across 20 sectors, we can provide a broad spectrum of services and better navigate market conditions.

We are a founding member of the global Inogen Alliance, which allows us to spread our opportunities and service clients in growth areas.
Members from our Geoenvironmental team attended this year’s awards which took place on the 2nd of February at the Double Tree in Lincoln.
