Simon Clennell-Jones

Divisional Director, Simon Clennell-Jones, will be delivering the RICS presentation: Land Contamination, at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors CPD Day, 16th October in Southampton.

The regional RICS conference focuses on continued professional development within land, property and the built environment for its members.  The programme for the day has been crafted to incorporate key developments relevant to the South East region, with a mix of local and national context. The conference will also include an update on the region's economy, how blockchain might transform the way in which real estate is transacted and how to better understand "Brexit-proofing" standard form construction contracts.

Based in London, Simon heads up Delta-Simons’ geo-environmental operations.  A Chartered Scientist and Environmentalist, Simon's primary areas of expertise include due diligence, contaminated land, human health and controlled waters risk assessment, remediation and project management. He has an established track record in the successful delivery of large scale, complex environmental assessment work as part of multidisciplinary teams including soil, groundwater, soil vapour, indoor/outdoor air investigations, expert witness work, asbestos in soils and environmental forensics.

Simon will be delivering his presentation with particular focus on land contamination as a constraint, transactions and redevelopment, environmental risk and materiality.  To read more about the event or book, visit the RICS event page.
