Geo-environmental Principal joins North team

Chris Everitt

We are delighted to welcome Chris Everitt to the Geo-environmental team as Principal Consultant based in the Leeds office. Chris brings over twenty years’ experience focused on ground risk, working across a range of sectors including Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals; Oil and Gas, Mining, Property Development and Finance.

Having worked for a variety of UK-based and International consultancies, Chris has held senior roles across local and international projects and holds specific experience in: 

  • Characterisation and remediation of complex sites, including operational chemical works, former gasworks, and power infrastructure projects
  • Delivering strategic advice on ground risk to large scale schemes including coal mining legacy issues
  • Commercial issues around transactions and investment with respect to ground conditions
  • Supporting schemes through the planning process, including EIA scale developments and the technical requirements of such support

Chris gained his Earth Sciences degree in Leeds and completed a Masters in Environmental Analysis and Assessment at Imperial Collage, London.

An award-winning Health & Safety adviser, Chris also holds a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety which has enabled him to provide H&S support and advice where needed.
