Natalie Rutter

Welcome to Senior Ecologist, Natalie Rutter who joins us with five years’ experience as an Ecological Consultant.

Natalie is a bat specialist having once worked as a Bat Scientist in Honduras which involved the capture and release of bats in Cusuco National Park for scientific research and conservation purposes.  Natalie has significant survey experience having designed and worked on a wide range of protected species projects.  She is also a qualified tree climber which will benefit aerial surveys.

Natalie gained a Masters in Environmental Consultancy and a Batchelors in Zoology at the University of Newcastle.  Natalie will be based in our Durham regional office.

Sue Charlton, Principal Ecologist in the North region, says “We are thrilled to have Natalie on board, she brings extensive experience to the growing ecology team and with survey season coming up will provide much needed support for our clients”.
