A team of cyclists from Delta-Simons are taking part in the Lincoln Castle to Coast to Castle, a 100-mile cycle ride across Lincolnshire from Lincoln Castle to the sea, and back again.

This will be the second year that Delta-Simons has participated in the Lincoln Castle to Coast to Castle event to raise funds for MS Society, St Barnabas Hospice and Cyclists Fighting Cancer.  The charity event will be held on Thursday 7 July.

The event first started in 2011, principally to raise money for charity, with 79 riders from local businesses taking part.  Over the past four years the event has gone from strength to strength with 457 cyclists taking part last year, and raising an impressive £44,050 to date.

The Delta-Simons team will be made up of 14 cyclists from various departments, with Alex Ferguson (Managing Director) and Paul Bennett (Midlands Unit Director) looking to complete the journey on a tandem!

Alex Ferguson said of the event, "We see the Lincoln C2C2C as a positive way of giving back to the communities that we work in, and after taking part for the first time last year we were keen to support it again for such great causes, despite signing up to attempt the route on a tandem..."
