Sue Charlton is a Principal Ecologist with Delta-Simons Environmental Consultants Ltd. She has wide-ranging experience in the private, public and voluntary sectors having started her career in conservation restoring and managing habitats on various scales. Within consultancy she has delivered technical reports, Environmental Statement chapters, Habitat Regulations Assessments and protected species mitigation under licence, as well as giving direction on a wide variety of multidisciplinary development projects.
Sue has an excellent working knowledge of UK and European nature conservation and planning legislation, policy and guidance. She holds Natural England survey licenses for great crested newts and bats, and a bat roost visitor’s license. She has also held numerous derogation licenses for bats.
