Why is training needed? 

Training is a vital part of an employer's management system to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of their employees. Other reasons for providing training to employees include:

• As the result of a risk assessment: and,
• to develop the competency of the workforce.

At Delta-Simons, we believe that training must be delivered in an engaging and professional manner, tailored to the topic and audience.  We periodically review the content of all our training courses to ensure that only the most up-to-date information is provided.

In close collaboration with our clients, we can develop bespoke training to suit their needs. This can be via an online system, in-person or via virtual platforms i.e., Microsoft Teams.

E-learning

Traditionally training would have been classroom-based learning or delivered virtually with presenter slides, however we are seeing a shift to online and self-paced learning. As companies review their remote/hybrid working policies, it will become difficult for them to deliver traditional training (including inductions) to their employees, and thus look to online learning. 

We can develop bespoke training to suit client needs in a variety of formats including in a SCORM file to allow for upload onto an internal Learning Management System (LMS). 

Our team of award-winning Trainers provide a broad range of standard e-learning courses, ranging from Basic Legionella Management to Food Hygiene and Electrical Safety.   

E-Learning solutions can be completed at the convenience of your personnel, whether that is at the office or from home where access restrictions to office space are in place.

What are my responsibilities?

All employers have a responsibility to keep their employees as safe as reasonably practical in their workplace. One way this can be achieved is through the provision of training to inform employees of relevant H&S risks and also their H&S responsibilities.
