Delta Dragons Prepare To Take To The Water For The 2023 Lincoln Dragon Boat Race

12 Jun 2023

The Delta Dragons are taking to water again for the next Lincoln Dragon Boat Festival 2023. On 17 June 2023, our Lincoln and Nottingham-based Geoenvironmental team will be taking part in the Lincoln dragon boat race in order to raise money for LIVES.

Originally launched in 2016 by Ringrose Law, providers of legal advice and services throughout Lincolnshire and Newark, the much anticipated annual event takes place on the Lincoln Brayford Waterfront. Teams of up to 11 people participate in order to raise awareness and vital fundraising for local charity, LIVES

About LIVES charity

Founded in the 1970s by two local doctors, LIVES provides valuable rapid pre-hospital care services across Lincolnshire through a cohort of critical care paramedics, doctors and first responders. Where location or geography makes it more difficult to access emergency healthcare, the LIVES team are there to deliver pre-hospital emergency medicine excellence, wherever it’s needed. The charity operates today through the generosity of local businesses, partners, members of the public and of course, their growing number of volunteers.

The charity needs to raise a minimum of £1.4 million every year to ensure they can provide this critical service. In order to further support LIVES, our Delta Dragons team are raising additional funds for the charity through a Just Giving page, where all donations go straight to the charity.
