Lincoln Property And Business Investment Expo

A well-established event, the Lincoln Property and Business Investment Expo creates opportunities to discuss current topics, including regeneration, investment, development, and growth in the region. Featuring an exhibition, the event facilitates a networking environment to interface with professional services and intermediaries in the property, construction and business investment sectors.

Having attended previous events with Property and Business Investment Expo, Jessica commented on the upcoming event stating:

“Located just 5 minutes from the Delta-Simons Ltd Headquarters, the Lincoln Property and Business Investment Expo is a firm date in our diaries each year. Providing a unique opportunity to engage with current and potential clients with key interests within a property and business environment, the event enables us to showcase both our geoenvironmental and our geotechnical services, which have vastly grown since our last exhibition due to our acquisition of geotechnical specialists, Ground Engineering.”

In May 2022, Delta-Simons Ltd completed the successful acquisition of Ground Engineering Ltd, a specialist provider of site investigation services and geotechnical testing. During the past year, the team have been a strong addition to the Geo-Environmental team within Delta-Simons Ltd.

About Ground Engineering

Ground Engineering is the successor to Soils Engineering, which was originally Pre-Piling Surveys Ltd, founded in 1936, highlighting the level of experience and reputation that Ground Engineering has in the marketplace. They offer geotechnical and geoenvironmental ground investigation and associated professional services to a wide range of civil engineering, construction, housing, environmental management and financial sectors.

Their team of 24 highly skilled and experienced geotechnical engineers, geologists and drilling operators are based predominately in Peterborough and working largely in London and the South East and will expand the capacity, range and expertise of the site investigation services to those that are already provided by the Geo-Environmental team within Delta-Simons. Their on-site services are supported by their UKAS ISO 17025 accredited geotechnical and construction materials testing laboratory.

Led by Chris Ebeling and Steve Fleming, the company was integrated into Delta-Simons’ geoenvironmental division, part of the Assessment vertical headed up by Managing Director Simon Clennell-Jones. As part of the Lucion Group, We provide environmental risk management, inspection, assessment and advisory services through our collective group of companies.

About The Lucion Group

At Lucion Group, we are dedicated to protecting people from hazardous environments and protecting the environment from the impacts of people.

The Group’s foundation businesses comprise Lucion Services a market-leading provider of hazardous materials management and Delta-Simons, a multi-disciplinary environmental and health and safety consultancy providing solutions for sustainable development. The Group includes several additional and aligned inspection, assessment and consultancy companies, acquired through our sustainable growth strategy.

Lucion Group’s Commitment To Sustainability

Our Group of companies supports sustainable development across 12 sectors worldwide by providing risk mitigation services. We operate as three industry verticals: inspection, conducting hazardous material testing, data analysis, and surveys; assessment, performing physical on-site investigations, including geoenvironmental and geotechnical studies; and advisory, offering environmental, sustainability, and consultancy services to assist clients at every stage of their asset lifecycle.

As a private equity-backed business, we prioritise sustainability and growth to secure our future for investors and the community. We joined the UN Global Compact in November 2022, committing to its 10 universal principles for good business practice. We will provide an annual ESG disclosure, beginning in 2023. As we acquire more businesses, we face the challenge of integrating them into our culture and values and collecting more data across our fleet and property portfolio. To overcome this, we have created roles in these key areas to collect good data, allowing us to make informed decisions and become a "Beyond Net Zero" business with action plans for reducing carbon emissions.

We strive for a positive change in the business landscape and are pleased to report that in December 2022, we achieved "beyond carbon neutral" status by not only offsetting our carbon production but also limiting it where possible. We aim to offset an additional 50% of our output in 2023. We continue to make an impact while expanding our international capabilities through our founding membership in the Inogen® Alliance, a global corporation providing multinational organisations with high-quality, cost-effective solutions for environmental, health, safety, energy, and sustainability.

With a national presence and a global footprint through our membership in the Inogen Alliance, Lucion Group has over 600 employees operating across 12 specialist sectors.
