Fantastic results for the first Delta-Simons Aquathon of the series

The first Delta-Simons Aquathon got underway on Wednesday evening, hosted by Activities Away in Lincoln - and what a turnout!
Both Junior and Senior events took place in the evening sunshine, with the Senior race involving an 800m open water swim, followed by a 3km run - and the competition was tight.
Our very own Alex Ferguson, Jonathan Wilson and David Piris bravely took part to represent Delta-Simons and did fantastic. Alex's completion time was 29.20mins, David achieved 29.44 and Jonathan's time was 35.50 - so well done to the guys! For all results, click here.

The Delta-Simons Aquathon is a series of five events taking place between May and September at Activities Away recreational lake in South Hykeham. The lake used for the Aquathon is a 1/4 mile gravel pit with excellent fresh-water quality, this is ensured by the lake being water-tested monthly by ourselves, and used for swimming, canoeing and jet skiing.
The next Aquathon will be held at the venue on Wednesday 10th June, if you fancy taking part fill in a Delta-Simons Aquathon entry form.
