Water Services team appoint new Associate

Josh joins us from Waterco where he was Senior Environmental Consultant specialising in flood risk and drainage, and responsible for establishing the regional Manchester office.  Prior to that Josh worked at RPS where he supported the geo-environmental, flood risk and drainage team.

Josh gained his degree in Geography at the University of Liverpool; he is a member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), and is a specialist in flood and drainage assessments for national and regional stakeholders.

The Delta-Simons water services team was established in March 2018, and has gone from strength to strength with a growing team and customers now considering the effects of climate change and issues of  subsequent flood risk (see article: Flood Risk & Climate Change: England Flood Planners must prepare for the worst?).

Ali Yarrow, Technical Director within the Environmental Planning team, says “With flood risk an issue high on the agenda for many clients, it’s important that we have the best team to support them in managing this risk, Josh's track record of developing commercial and deliverable solutions to the challenges combined with his technical flood and drainage expertise will be a great asset to our water services team”.
